Asbestos Awareness Training (UKATA category 3 training)

A course intended to provide a good general understanding of:
- what asbestos is,
- where it comes from,
- how it has been used,
- the hazards, risks and medical effects,
- asbestos legislation,
- asbestos assessment,
- emergency procedures and
- asbestos management
The course is supported by the use of Powerpoint presentation, photographs, video and physical samples

Certification
At the end of the course, delegates are required to sit a short, multiple choice test. If a pass mark is achieved, a Certificate will be awarded indicating that the delegate has received training to UKATA category 3 level.
